Sony MP3 Player Buying Guide
Overview
Sony's line of Walkman MP3 players is a great alternative for those not satisfied by Creative's Zen or Apple's iPod. There are currently four models, each providing different options that suit different kinds of lifestyles. The Sony NWZ-S700 Series Noise-Reducing Walkman MP3 players, for example, are great for those who make long commutes using public transportation, as they have long battery life and contain noise-reducing technology. Being small and lightweight makes Sony's NWZ-B100 Series Ultra Compact Walkmen great for those who are constantly on-the-go or like to pack light.
Sony NWZ-A800 Series Video Walkmen

| Sony's NWZ-A800 Series Video Walkman is considered the "big kahuna" of the entire Walkman line. Sporting either 8 or 16 gigabytes of flash memory, the NWZ-A800 has enough room to comfortably store over 3,500 songs or over 60 hours or MPEG video. The beautiful 2.4" LCD screen is great for watching your favorite videos on-the-go or showing your photo collection to a friend. The NWZ-A800 is also small, measuring only 9.3 mm thick and weighing a paltry 58 grams, yet maintains a whopping 36 hour battery life when listening to music (10 for video). What's really unique about this player, though, is its built-in Bluetooth network capability, which lets the device sync wirelessly with your music collection if it's on a bluetooh enabled PC. What's more, the device allows you to live wire-free and gives you the ability to stream your music to any other bluetooth equipped device, including bluetooth-enabled wireless headphones. |
