Florals and Wreaths Buying Guide

Wreaths and florals are popular crafts (and decorations) virtually all year round. As a winter activity, this craft is a really great idea. Wreaths  are inviting and warm during those chilly months, and will keep you entertained while the snow is falling. Spring and Easter wreaths  make a home look fresh and welcoming, even if you're still weathering through those April showers.Though floral arrangements  and wreaths may look difficult, this project can be done in an afternoon without too much stress.

These guides are designed to help you research, choose, and execute any floral or wreath projects you've got in mind. The guides are divided by the projects and their functions, but a small introduction is included below. Just click on a guide to get started, or browse around until you find something that interests you. If you know something that we don't, feel free to add it! Wikis can be created and edited by everyone, so get involved! Just type "edit" in the search box above to find out how. Happy shopping!

Wreath Making

Wreaths are beautiful accent pieces for the home. They can adorn walls, doors, and even double as centerpieces on tables. There are many possibilities, and they all start with a basic understanding of supplies available to you.

Bouquets

The most important factor in choosing a bouquet shape and size is... you. Are you big or small? What kind of dress are you wearing? What is your personal style? Bouquets should harmonize and accentuate, not try to steal the show

Corsages

The first step is buying flowers (fresh or silk). You can buy a single rose for a boutonniere, several for a corsage, or even select another flower if you prefer.

Garlands

Though they aren't a holiday staple. garlands can really transform a house or porch into a winter wonderland. Consider buying synthetic garland and gluing your decorations on for a lasting work of art.

Flower Arranging

Much easier said than done! It doesn't take much to fill a vase with a dozen flowers, but to truly compliment a home or make a statement, it requires a lot of work and even more patience.
